Roman Pfranger appointed new CEO of Neue Bank AG
The Board of Directors of Neue Bank AG has appointed Roman Pfranger as the new CEO of Neue Bank AG. He will take up his position on 1 February 2025.
According to Hansruedi Köng, Chairman of the Board of Directors, “Roman Pfranger has impressed us on both a personal and professional level. He brings extensive knowledge of the banking sector and many years of managerial experience. With his strong values and high level of expertise, he is an ideal match for our bank and its future plans. The Board of Directors and staff look forward to taking the next steps in the bank’s development with Roman Pfranger as our new CEO.”
Roman Pfranger has been with Kaiser Partner Privatbank AG in Vaduz since 2008, where he currently serves as Head of Private Banking & Investment Solutions and is a member of the Executive Board. He previously worked at Bank Julius Baer in Zurich following his commercial training. He is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Liechtenstein. Raised in the Graubünden Rhine Valley, Roman Pfranger has strong ties to the region and is a recognised expert on the Liechtenstein financial centre. He is married and has one son.

Apart from the new CEO Roman Pfranger, the composition of the Executive Board remains unchanged: Thomas Hemmerle (Wealth Management), Claudia Jehle-Ospelt (Finance & Services), and Stefan Tschopp (Legal & Compliance), who have jointly managed Neue Bank AG since August 2023.
Neue Bank AG is a fixture of the Liechtenstein banking centre and is also renowned as a private bank throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Since 1992, it has provided its clients with comprehensive wealth advisory and management services that meet the highest quality standards. With approximately 90 employees, the bank is highly agile and consistently aims to deliver tailored solutions. As of the end of June 2024, the private bank managed client assets totalling approximately 6.8 billion Swiss francs.
