Our contribution to security – signed e-mails / e-mail encryption

 

NEUE BANK AG attaches a great deal of importance to security and confidentiality.

Unencrypted e-mail correspondence entails significant risks such as lack of confidentiality, potential falsification of the content or the sender, etc.
NEUE BANK AG will therefore not accept any orders by e-mail and also recommends clients not to send any sensitive information by e-mail in unencrypted form.

 

Why signed e-mails

 

E-mails with falsified sender addresses are constantly in circulation. In order to give you the confidence of knowing that e-mails which have been transmitted with the sender name NEUE BANK AG also genuinely originate from us and have not been falsified, all outgoing e-mails from NEUE BANK AG will contain a digital signature.

Most e-mail programs carry out an automatic verification of the digital signature. Confidential certificates from NEUE BANK AG are issued via "SwissSign Personal Silver CA 2008 - G2", an independent certification body. The signature must be shown as valid and signed with the E-Mail-Domain "neuebankag.li" !

 

E-mail encryption

 

NEUE BANK AG offers you the facility for encrypting your e-mails. It supports the OpenPGP and S/MIME methods of encryption. In order to encrypt e-mails you need your own digital certificate. You can apply for one of these from a certification body. There are many certification bodies to whom you can apply for a certificate. For personal use you can get it for free at Comodo, TC Trustcenter or Thawte. If you already own a certificate then send us a signed e-mail. With immediate effect we will then send our e-mail correspondence with you in encrypted form.
